Research progress of image haze grade evaluation and dehazing technology

Image dehazing is a technique for the foggy image sharpening processing. The task is to remove the effect of environmental factors on image quality, so as to enhance the image visibility. Firstly, the study and classification of haze image properties are discussed, and further the research status of image dehazing technology are summarized, such as typical method of histogram equalization algorithm, Retinex algorithm and evaluate dark channel prior algorithm, the performance of these various algorithms and there respective advantages and disadvantages. The development trend of image dehazing and future prospects finally put forward in the paper.
