Study Status and Development of Grinding Database

It is essential and important for realization of intelligent grinding to have a grinding database which can provide reliable and optimum grinding database in line with customer’s requirement and selective grinding process parameters. In combination with the developing status of home and overseas grinding database, this paper analyzes the problems existed in establishment and application of current grinding database in the aspects of construction and application software design. At last, it presents that the main research trend of grinding database in the future will be towards intelligentization and internetization.
