Effect and Correction of Tide on Multibeam Bathymetric Sounding

This article first discusses the effect of tide on multibeam bathymetric sounding.Secondly analyses the feature of traditional tidal correction mode on multibeam bathymetric sounding based on the control of tide gauge and tidal modeling.Finally,the article compares the difference between the traditional bathymetric sounding tidal correction mode and the mode by GPS without tidal observation,the technique of transformation about vertical datum is researched,which is important to GPS without tidal observation and joining between map and chart.
