Real-time checking and tracking of moving object based on TMS320DM6437

A checking and tracking algorithm of moving objects based on TMS320DM6437 is proposed in this paper.In order to check and track the moving objects from the moving background,an algorithm which integrates background update based on block matching with frame difference method is proposed,and the boundary connectivity idea of Canny algorithm is quoted.Otsu threshold method is adopted for image segmentation to binarize the self-adaptive threshold value.The eight-neighbor searching method is replaced by the four-neighbor-alternating searching method,and segmental NMI feature is used to match the object.The tracking of the object is implemented by Kalman prediction method based on object motion information.The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of this algorithm.
