An Exploration on Validity and Length of Psychological Test

Increasing the length is one of the best ways to improve validity and reliability two of the most important criteria in evaluating psychological tests. It is difficult to understand the formula illustrating the relationship between reliability and validity and its calculating result due to the diversity of symbols used by different scholars to represent validity. An analysis of formulas is made based on classical testing theories and a new formula is put forward to explain the relationship between test validity and test length.
