Development of the E-approval System Based on the Open Source Workflow engine

The technology solution to developing the E-approval System based on OSWorkflow meeting the needs of E-Government is provided in this paper. It uses J2EE multi-layer model,applies various components such as OSWorkflow,Quartz and Struts Framework,Hibernate Framework to the different layers of J2EE multi-layer model,and realizes stratification between business logic,user interface,and data persistence. So the design demand of higher cohesion and looser coupling can be implemented,and further,developing efficiency largely increase,simultaneously,maintenance costs greatly reduce.
