Design and Development of Weather Information System Based on Component GIS

This article focuses on the basic theory and the relative application of the component-based GIS technology in the meteorological information system. It also introduces the design and development of a comprehensively functional,component-based GIS weather information management system,aimed at drawing GIS technology and digital visualization technology into the field of meteorology,which has a certain theoretical significance and engineering value in promoting the meteorological work to the direction of visualization and digitalization.
