Research of Multicast Congestion Control Based on NS2

Multicast applied in multimedia services is an effective method for a large amount of data transmission such as software distribution and multi-user games.Based on the network simulator(NS2),the problem of multicast congestion was analyzed,existing difficulties in solutions of multicast congestion control were presented.Then,the programming of a typical multicast congestion control protocol was implemented,the devlopment direction of multicast congestion control and a new method of multicast congestion control protocol were given.
