Real time power quality data management system for area power system

A power quality monitoring and data management system is presented in the paper, which is based on the electric power LAN. The details are introduced, which include the whole system structure,functions and characteristics of every system parts. Then the methods of data processing and data transmission are shown. The system inteqrates the functions of power quality online monitoring and data management. The layered and hierarchical management of power quality indexes is realized in this developed system.
