Analysis of Integer Z-Transformation in the LAMBDA Method

LAMBDA algorithm is one of the best methods of solving ambiguity,and the algorithm mainly includes ambiguity decorrelation( Z transform) and integer ambiguity search. In this algorithm that Z transformation reduces the correlation of the highly relevant ambiguity is the core content of LAMBDA algorithm. This paper analyzes the basic principle of iterative method of Z transformation and joint correlation method,and takes the performance evaluation of the two methods by examples. Results show that there is no difference between the level of the iteration method and the combined adjustment method—no significant differences in the number of iterations. But if the matrix dimension is greater,decorrelation effect will decline. In general,combined effect is slightly better than the iterative method.
