A modified polyvinyl alcohol adhesive for labeling beer bottle was obtained using polyvinyl alcohol as the main filmforming material,cross-linking agent A and B as the modifiers and starch as the auxiliary.When the percentage cross-linking agent A content is 1～1.5%,the cross-linking agent B content is 0.4～0.6%,starch content is 2～3%and reaction temperature is 60℃,the modified polyvinyl alochol trademark adhesive showed better adhesive property,including high initial adhesive strength,fast drying speed,good water resistance etc.It can be used in high-speed production line for labeling beer bottle and can replace the casein adhesive.
