A study of a video-based method for detecting vehicles' transgressing-lane behavior

This paper introduces a video-based method for detecting vehicles' lane-transgressing behavior. The statistics of frames is used to judge the lane edge status of the white line. In accordance with the different status-quo of the white line, the vehicle transgressing the lane is recognized by detecting the region where the gray is even or the complicated edge information exists in the front of the vehicle. The test results prove the validity and of the method.
