New Access to Carrier and Shipper Information:Logistics Information Real-time Intelligent Matchmaking Platform

The paper analyzes the deficiencies in the present logistics information systems in providing information of carriers and shippers and,using the independently developed special-purpose search engine as its core,constructs a logistics information real-time intelligent matchmaking platform on the basis of the combination of internet technologies and the mobile GSM network.On this new platform,a carrier can has his information matched intelligently with that of a suitable shipper through simple means such as SMS and web page and receives the information he needs in 60 seconds,thus providing an economical and easy solution to the problems caused by ill information exchangeability. Meanwhile three operation modes of the platform are introduced.
