Log interpretation method for watered-out zone is established for three-low (low porosity, low permeability and low salinity) oilfield. Watered-out and litho-electric features are better understood, water-flushed features of strongly water-wetting rock and reservoirs with low salinity formation water are made clear, thus providing basis for identifying oil and water layers. Notable production increase has been achieved by using this method.
