Development and Application of Resistive Current Measuring Device for Metal Oxide Gapless Arresters

The paper compares several measuring methods for metal-oxide arresters (MOA), points out problems existing in resistive current measurement and the device of MOA, and presents a new method--the projection method. Based on the relevant principle, a MOA-RCD type resistive current meter has been developed.
