Application of Time Series Forecasting on Hospital Drug Purchase

Objective Establishing a trend prediction model of time series on drug consumption to evalue the application effective of the model.Method We establish a trend model of time series on drug consumption of the hospital by means of time series decomposition forecasting base on the drug consumption related data which is cumulated in the hospital information system(HIS).Result Operation results indicates much better prediction.Conclusion Time series decomposition is applicable of drug consumption prediction of hospital.
