On Average Period Analysis of Chaotic Time Series of Liujiang River Runoff

The daily highest water level of recent decade of Liujiang River,the annual runoff total of Liujiang River and series produced by Henon system were used as the chaotic time series,eight kinds of average periods were calculated for the three chaotic time series.The characters variances of the eight average periods are consistent between the three chaotic time series.The results combining with the physical meaning of Liujiang River runoff were analyzed.It is concluded that the power weighted method is meaningful in calculating the average period of Liujiang River runoff.
