Research for Solving Complex Permittivity of Dielectric in Resonant Cavity

For establishing the universal mathematic model to solve the complex permittivitye_r of dielec- tric in resonant cavity,use the wave equation and boundary condition about harmonious electromagnetic field to educe the equation withe_r as its eigenvalue.The equation is applied to solve the dielectric post in rectangular cavity,and the solving process is direct.The measurement results showed the method can be used to solve the dielectric sample of big size,high permittivity and low loss.
