DSegmentation and Location of Moving Object in Video Monitoring System

Aiming at video monitoring system with a static camera indoors,an approach is presented in this paper,which uses a self-adaptive background subtraction method to update background.After exploiting HMMD color space for shadow suppression,we intro-duce an improved Region Growing method for location of moving object.The improved method is able to separate each moving object and get center of them.The experimental results show the effectiveness of our method.
