Literature Review on the Relationship between Language Input and Second Language Acquisition

The thesis begins with reviewing the outcomes of the studies on the relationship betweeninput and SLA and analyzes them in four aspects: comprehensibility,the relationship betweeninput and output,function of I_.AD in and function of interaction in SLA.Then, the thesis probesinto the findings of empirical studies conducted by foreign linguists in three aspects: premodifiedinput and interactively modified input,and the impact of them on SLA.
