Research on Mitigation Strategy of DDoS Attacks

DDoS has become one of the most rigorous threats to the network security.Only if we revise the kernel of TCP/IP,there are not means that can settle DDoS attacks theoretically.But we can prevent some DDoS attacks effectively and reduce the harm of it through some technical methods.Based on the point,this paper summarizes and analyzes existing mitigation stagegy of DDoS attacks.By confirming the validity of algorithm in the simulation,it has great reference value for a better understanding of DDoS attacks and defense.
