A resistance-time converter circuit and its application

A resistance-time converter circuit employing relaxation oscillator is described. The relation of time and resistance changes is discussed, and their linear formula is guided. Analyses show that the circuit has such advantages as good robustness, excellent linearity and good resistance to inference. It is suitable to act as the signal conditioner of resistive sensor. Based on the circuit and single-chip computer, a multichannel measurement system is built.
