Research and Analysis of Block Coding Parameters in JPEG2000

JPEG2000 standard provides many coding parameters that produce different compression performance. This paper analyzes the influence of coding parameters related to block coding on compression performance through experiments and provide some suggestions on how to choose these parameters.
