Grid Workflow Development and Execution Environment for Bioinformatics Applications

Grid workflow system aims at orchestrating resources on the grid sites to support complex application in fields such as biology information.Existing systems demand that the users have a good knowledge of business process languages;it is hard to configure and use these systems to design business process model.To solve this problem,a bioinformatics-oriented integrated development and execution system is designed and implemented.Biologists can design process model and submit jobs,monitor the process state and view the computation result through web.At the end,gene computation is used to describe the usage of the system.
