A combination method based on evidence preprocessing

In view of the deficiency of D-S evidence theory in combining highly conflictive evidence,a new combination rule based on evidence preprocessing is presented.In the improved method,evidences are preprocessed according to their reliable degree and the supported degree of every proposition.The unreasonable combination results when evidences conflict with each other is avoided and the superiority of information focusing like a classical D-S rule is reserved by the improved method.The reliability and effectiveness of the new combination rule are proved by an example.
