Summary of drilling process monitoring and real-time fault diagnosis

The drilling process monitoring method and the signal processing method is introduced;the development of fault diagnosis mode and method is given as well in this paper.A real-time fault diagnosis method,based on independent component analysis(ICA) and expert system was presented,which used ICA to calculate independent component to reduce the noise and mutual affect,then using the expert gathering system according to the signal to judge the fault.
