Study on Reliability of Space Shuttle Orbit Maneuver System

According to the work mode of Space Shuttle Orbit Maneuver System(OMS)which has multi-failure states,a reconfigurable duplex model is presented and analyzed the reliability and safety of OMS are analysed based on the theory of Markov Chain.Indexes of reliability and safety:MTTF,CMTTF|D and theirs computations are given,whose results could greatly improve the reliability of OMS based on adjusting the corresponding indexes.
