Research on moving objects DBMS based on ORDB

The moving objects DBMS based on OPDB was researched and designed.The system involved a data model,query language,database system for location-based service.Now,GIS was required to represent moving objects and to support querying on the motion properties of objects for location-based services.Such as advanced CRM applications may require to store and query the trajectories of mobile terminal users.But,the system design and processing motion-specific queries were challenging problem.A data model and data types for moving objects that includes complex evolving spatial structure and indeterminacy were defined,and then the system implementation was described.
