A Low Cost Multicast Routing Algorithm with Delay and Delay Variation Constraints

A good multicast routing algorithm should not only take delay constraints and delay variation constraints into account but also manage the network resources efficiently and reduce the cost of multicast trees for interactive real-time application. For this reason, a low cost multicast routing algorithm with delay and delay variation constraints is presented. This is a heuristic algorithm with low complexity capable of providing low delay variation and low cost routing strategies.
