Using LPM to Simplify the Designing of CPLD

With the development of Electronic Design Automatic(EDA),the scale of the digital logic system is larger and larger and the integration is higher and higher.While the time a production comes into the market is shorter and shorter.In the face of the pressure,it is difficult that a designer only use Hardware Description Language(HDL) or graphic editor to design a digital circuit.But a designer can complete a design quickly by using EDA software,which supports LPM.And the production is structureunattached and higher utilization of Complex Programmable Logic Device(CPLD).In this thesis a sevensegment encoding circuit,which is based on the LPMROM,sets an example to expound how to use the Library of Parameterized Modules(LPM) module to simplify the designing of CPLD.
