Spatiotemporal Data Model Related Concepts and Its Classifications

As the amount of spatiotemporal data is increased on a daily basis and GIS becomes increasingly important,new spatiotemporal data models and their extensions have been continuously proposed and developed.This paper introduces the concepts of spatiotemporal data modeling and their relationships and presents an improved classification method based on the analysis of existing models and classification methods.This improved method can better explain the inherent distinctions between models.
