A Fast Algorithm of Speech End-Point Detection Combined with Short-Time Zero Crossing Rate

In order to solve the problem of big computation efforts of traditional spectral variance method,this paper puts forward a new algorithm combined with short time zero crossing rate.By converting square calculation to ABS function,this approach reduces calculation amount.Meanwhile,ABS function suppresses the interference of white noise effectively as it is equivalent to spectral subtraction between adjacent frames.This algorithm is superior to others in condition of low SNR.
