Input Ehamcement Theory in Second Languase Acquisition

As an external attention-drawing device,input enhancement was put forward by Sharwood Smith and now has caught the attention of many researchers. But there are still very few studies on input enhancement in China. As a consequence,it has significant theoretical and practical significance to approach from that point of view.Following the concept of input enhancement,this study summarized the present research situation on it at home and abroad. Finally,Some limitations in current research are pointed out and recommendations for future research are given. Researchers should actively explore the effect of input enhancement based on the foreign language study environment at home.
