Energy conservation algorithm based on topology control for mobile Ad hoc network

How to optimize nodes energy consumption and lifetime is a hot issue in mobile Ad hoc network.An energy conservation algorithm based on topology control is proposed.By using neighbor elimination scheme as well as RNG topology control,the transmission power of each node and the redundant broadcast messages are reduced.Simulation results show that the algorithm has better performance and can improve network power efficiency.
