An Iterative Decoding Algorithm with Constellation and Syndrome Message

For the constructed low density parity check( LDPC) codes,an iterative decoding algorithm is presented which is jointly designed with constellations and syndrome messages. At the check nodes,syndrome messages are directly processed and passed back to the variable nodes. At the variable nodes,constellations and syndrome messages are combined to calculate / process the decoding messages involved. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the presented algorithm can remain good decoding performance with lower decoding complexities.
