A monitoring and information alarm system for tunnel construction

Chen Li-hu · Journal of Guangxi University · 2014

In view of frequent accidents in the process of tunnel construction, and in order to meet the requirements of safety management,a monitoring and safety evaluation system for tunnel construction was developed, based on the network communication technology. database technology and visualization technology. The system mainly involves the following key techniques: determining the monitoring control index according to the analysis of relevant specification of the monitoring, the real-time monitoring data, the construction process and the construction experience of participants in the construction; compiling the client and server communication dynamic link library, through which the system can automatically give contrastive analysis of the real-time monitoring data, determine the site of index and send alarm information; building many forecast models, such as gray model,BP(Back Propagation) neural network model and time series model to predict the deformation trend. The system has been applied to the project of JC2 and JC3 bid sections of ChengGong Street of JiChang Road in Xiamen city. During its operation, the system had released the alarm for 470 times on uneven building settlement and arch sedimentation. The application results show that the system can reflect the safety conditions in the building and on the surface, the dynamic properties of the surrounding rock support system and the construction progress to the computer desktops of the owners, designers, and technical personnel in time.
