According to the phenomenon of users who are accustomed to use a few words to search the information they need on the internet.But people always can not find the exact information they need.The model of the query semantic expansion based on mutual information is proposed.It can not only find the corresponding information of the query but also find the related information according to the inte-resting of user's.
