Design of Biorthogonal Filterbanks by Sequential Lifting

Based on the analysis of construction and sequential lifting method of three-band biorthogonal filterbanks,this paper suggests the method of designing three-band adaptive biorthogonal filterbanks by means of sequential lifting scheme,and also gives the design algorithm.The simulation results indicate that the subband coding gains can be markedly improved.
