It has been known that some situations in the closure condition. On the base of that, some researches have been done on the effects of pH, the size of articles, different of buildup substances and retention drainage aids on the fines retention and drainage of water in the wet end of apaper machine. It is proved in the paper that the PEO/PFR is efficient additives when the white water system is closed, and its stability is excellent under the closure system.
