Vehicle shadow detection based on HSV color space and cloud model

This paper introduced cloud model,moving object's location,and HSV color space.A method of vehicle shadow detection based on HSV color space and cloud model is presented.The shadow areas is sampled under several different kinds of illumination to construct several cloud models based on HSV color space by Gaussian obverse generator of cloud model to detect the shadow.Comparing the results of this method and others shows that the methods based on cloud model and HSV space are effective.
