An Embedded Single-chip Self-reconfigurable Computing Platform Architecture

In this paper it is described that how to create a self-reconfigurable system by dynamic reconfiguration technique which is partitioned into a fixed part containing an embedded microprocessor to manage the ICAP to implement the dynamic reconfiguration process and reconfigurable parts which communicate with the fixed part through a specific structure named bus macro.The experiment shows that it is possible to implement a complex reconfigurable system in a single FPGA using self-reconfiguration technique.
