The article summarizes the current situation of the computational research,analyzes the consistency of the computer science thinking,computational thinking and computing thinking,and expounds the characteristics of the computational thinking.It is also discussed in this paper the basic problems about the computational thinking research,and the importance of the research on methodology of computer science and technology to computational thinking research is emphasized.It is proposed at last that the study of the computer science thought history will be useful to both research on computational thinking and methodology of computer science and technology.
