Mining the Data of the Equity Analysts′ Recommendations

Equity analysts serve an important role in bringing information about companies to the stock market.With the development of stock market in China,the influence of the equity analysis and their reports has increased considerably in the recent years.mathematical and statistical models are established in this paper to examining the informaiton value of analysts′ recommendations.It is shown that the analyst recommendation do have investment value in the long term especially to large institutions.Data mining strategies are applied to select the star analysts among the different industries.This would be helpful in using the information efficiently.
