A Routing Mechanism Based on Sub-area Mobile Service in Wireless Sensor Networks

The use of mobility has been proved to be beneficial for improving communication performance of the wireless sensor network.This paper proposes a new controlled mobility mechanism-routing mechanism based on sub-area mobile service.This mechanism divides the network area into different sub-areas according to the number of mobile nodes,adopts Nearest Neighbor algorithm as the path planning algorithm,and utilizes mobile nodes to relay the data transfer of static nodes in their own sub-areas.The simulation result shows that the routing mechanism based on sub-area mobile service could increase network throughput,reduce transfer delay and delay jitter.
