High Initial Response is a special designed AC exciter excitation system,by which the time constant of the AC exciter can be compensated so that the voltage response time of excitation system can rise close to that of the static excitation system.The paper described circuit construction and parameter matching of the High Initial Response excitation system and explained its meaning.
