Coal is main energy source in China.To reduce pollution,developing some nuclear power is one practical and feasible approach.Appling Impact Pathway Analysis(IPA)approach framework of externalities of nuclear power and coal power were established,the external cost of coal power and nuclear power in China were preliminarily studied.
