Application of genetic algorithm to optimizing blasting parameters for tunnel excavation

The theory of genetic algorithm method for optimizing the blasting parameters for tunnel excavation are explained with a living example in Arongqi-Shenzhen freeway construction;the example shows that using genetic algorithm to adjust the blasting parameters and supporting parameters could cut down the tunnel blasting cost to minimum effectively.
