The Development of GIS Based on C# and MapObjects

The paper discusses how to build a geographical information system with C#,which is the most popular programming language in.NET and MapObjects,which is a component based on COM technique.With the example of development of soil and water conservation information system of Huai River Basin,and also discusses the difficulties in the process of developing a few GIS functions with Visual C#.NET and MapObjects and gives the corresponding solutions.
