Study on Data Compression Algorithm in ZigBee

ZigBee is a kind of new short-range, low-rate wireless sensor networking technology .It has a good market in the field of medical health care. Based on SCM, ZigBee faces new challenges in data processing and dissemination because of the limited resources (bandwidth, energy). Considering characters of biomedical signals, the paper proposes the Improved Adaptive Huffman Algorithm, a real -time compression algorithm can be used in SCM. Experiment verifies that the algorithm can satisfy real -time compression .
