GIS applications using COM callback mechanism of MapInfo

Microsoft.NET,a new platform of the Microsoft,which has an excellent power of technique compatibility.COM is the advanced technology of Microsoft,and it accomplishes almost all the communication between components of different softwares.MapInfo is one of the main software of GIS which is used broadly.The GIS applications based on COM and MapInfo is introduced in this article.That is,based on COM component packing technology of.NET,the interfaces of MapInfo were packed.With callback mechanism of the packed COM,it can be more simple and flexible to explore the GIS applications.This article presented a dee Pdiscussion on the thoughts and technologies of secondary development of MapInfo using callback mechanism,and got a satisfaction with its application.
